Dear Ms.
Guiffre: |
|
I am writing for two purposes. The
first is to convey my appreciation for the help that you
and Mr. Larry Burton have been to the medical care
Policy Administration. You alerted us to the existence
of Top Banana and to the importance of the service and
then provided us with information that was very helpful
as we developed service descriptions and provider
requirements for a potential Medicaid home and
community-based services waiver. We were very impressed
by your professionalism and enthusiasm for this
service. |
--Michael S. Franch, Ph.D. Medical Care Program
Specialist. |
They [Top Banana] can serve as our eyes
and ears in the community, it may not be their main directive,
but they keep their eyes out, and sometimes they are the only
people these seniors see.
--Theresa Grant Director of Aging Services Prince
George's Department of Family Services.
These folks are filling a critical need in
the community. It serves the common good.
--M. H. Jim Estepp Prince George's County
Council,.
A really tremendous program. Making a lot
of peoples lives so much fuller because they are able to live
independently with just that little bit of assistance. Just an
old fashioned idea in this modern time. It's just nice to see
people helping others. It's the kind of thing we're used to
seeing from the past when families were living close together
and could kind of look out for each other, - and now they have
Top Banana.

Women.
