Senior Resources

Finding services for seniors and people with disabilities who wish to continue living independently may seem daunting at first, but many services are available if you just know where to look.

There is an informal network of support providers such as Top Banana who are happy to point you in the right direction, but the best starting place is the local department of aging or department of disabilities. These agencies can provide information on the types of government services and other community resources available to area residents.

To help you get started, contact the departments below, or visit Maryland Access Point, a centralized place where you can assess your needs and discover specific health and support services available in your area.
