Ordering and delivery tips
  • The best time to call is mid-day; phones are busiest in the early morning and late afternoon.
  • To get a delivery time, within a two hour window, please call after 10 a.m. the day after you place your order (either Tuesday or Thursday).
  • To keep costs as low as possible, we arrange our delivery routes in the most cost-effective manner.  We are in the grocery business to bring you top quality products, at reasonable prices, not to make a profit.  Expenses must be watched carefully.  If, on occasion, you wish to ask for a special delivery time, we will attempt to honor your request.  However, we do ask that you try to avoid scheduling appointments on your regular delivery day, when possible.
  • If a special delivery time is requested, please call the following day, after 10 a.m., to confirm that we were able to accommodate you.
  • Forget an item?  We accept order changes and additions up until 4:30 p.m. on order day.  We can even take changes and additions up until 10 a.m. on the following day.  However, not all items may be available.
  • You will find the groceries easy to put away, because your order is packed in four stages: dry goods, refrigerated, frozen and produce.

HOLIDAY WEEK 2009 - December 20, 2009 - December 26, 2009 
                            If your regular Call-in Day is Monday, no changes are made this week.
                            There will be no Wednesday Call-in or Friday delivery this week.

NEW YEAR'S WEEK 2009 - December 27, 2009 - January 2, 2010 
                            If your regular Call-in Day is Wednesday, please call in on Monday, December 28th.
                            You will receive your order on Wednesday, December 30th. 
                            There will be no regular Monday/Wednesday service this week.

 

Bad Weather Guidelines

  1. Listen for Public Schools Weather-related Closings:

  2. Public Schools opening late or closed:  Delivery may be later than normal or rescheduled.  If deliveries will be more than two hours late or rescheduled you will be contacted.

  3. Local Government closed:  Top Banana will call to reschedule.
